Africa’s captains of energy industry to convene in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa

The 2024 Africa Energy Sector Inward Buying and Investment Mission is set to take place on July 15-19 in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. This landmark event will bring together 40 African delegates from 10 confirmed countries to engage in a comprehensive exploration of South Africa’s energy capabilities and project opportunities across the continent.

The mission will be hosted by the South African Electrotechnical Export Council (SAEEC) with support from the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic), the Export Credit Insurance Corporation (ECIC), and the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA).

According to Mrs Chiboni Evans, CEO of SAEEC, the timing of this year’s mission is fortuitous. “The African Continental Free
