Treasury Bills see marginal oversubscription as yields decline

Ghana’s government recorded a marginal oversubscription of treasury bills, securing GHS 3.6 billion against a target of GHS 3.5 billion, despite a decline in yields on 182-day and 364-day bills.

The 91-day bills attracted the most bids, with GHS 2.76 billion accepted, while the 182-day and one-year bills saw GHS 660 million and GHS 182 million tender, respectively.

Yields on the three-month bill rose to 24.86 per cent, while those on the nine-month and one-year bills fell to 26.80 per cent and 27.78 per cent, respectively.
