SSNIT disburses GH₵450M to 251,000 pensioners for September 2024

The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has disbursed a total of GH₵450.07 million to 251,576 pensioners for September 2024. The payment, made on September 19, 2024, covers pension benefits under both PNDC Law 247 and Act 766.

The highest monthly pension under PNDC Law 247 amounted to GH₵186,777.58, while Act 766’s highest was GH₵26,509.66. The lowest monthly pension for existing pensioners was GH₵409.10, and new pensioners received a minimum of GH₵300.00.

This month saw 996 more pensioners benefiting compared to August. Pensioners can access their benefits through their respective banks, with the next payment set for October 17, 2024. SSNIT continues to encourage workers to plan for retirement to secure full benefits.
