Ghana Water Limited (GWL) management in the Northern and Savannah Regions has announced a revenue mobilization campaign to recover outstanding arrears and address illegal water connections.

Scheduled from November 1 to December 31, 2024, the initiative will focus on identifying unauthorized self-reconnections and eliminating the illegal use of in-line booster pumps.

In a public statement, GWL noted, “This exercise aims to retrieve all outstanding arrears owed by customers, detect illegal connections, identify self-reconnections, and stop the unauthorized use of in-line booster pumps.”

GWL has advised customers to promptly settle their arrears via official online channels or at designated payment centers within the two regions to avoid any disruption in services.
