Standard Chartered Bank Ghana appoints Cynthia Anne Lumor as Independent Non-Executive Director
Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC has appointed Cynthia Anne Lumor as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective October 21, 2024. Known for her transformational leadership, Lumor brings a fresh perspective and extensive expertise that will enhance the bank’s strategic direction and commitment to inclusive, innovative leadership.
Lumor’s career spans senior roles in general management, risk management, legal negotiations, regulatory affairs, sustainability, stakeholder management, and transformative organizational development within the oil, gas, and telecommunications sectors. She currently serves as Deputy Managing Director of Tullow Ghana Limited, having joined in 2017 as Director of External Affairs and Social Performance, later advancing to Corporate Affairs Director and then Deputy Managing Director in 2021.
Prior to Tullow Ghana, Lumor held a Corporate Services Executive position at MTN Ghana and previously worked with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and the U.S.-based telecommunications firm AT&T, where she led the Market Research and Analysis Department.
