President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr. Herbert Krapa as the Minister for Energy, with the appointment taking effect on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Mr. Krapa, who previously served as Minister of State at the Ministry of Energy since July 15, 2024, has been praised for his exceptional diligence, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to his duties.
According to a statement issued by Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the Jubilee House, President Akufo-Addo highlighted Mr. Krapa’s significant contributions to the progress and stability of Ghana’s energy sector during his tenure.
“His leadership and dedication have been instrumental in driving forward key initiatives in the energy sector, and I am confident that he will excel in his new role,” the President stated.
