Akmodel Group’s Managing Director, Builder (Dr.) Abdulhakeem Odegade, was a guest speaker at the second edition of the African Continental Engineers, Architecture, Construction & Real Estate Summit (ACEACRES 2024) held in Accra, Ghana.
The summit, themed “Integrating Sustainable Built Environment for Socio-economic Transformation,” brought together industry leaders, professionals, and innovators from across Africa to discuss emerging trends and technologies in the built environment sector.
Dr. Odegade delivered a session on “Exploring Emerging Trends and the Adoption of New Generation Building Technologies: The Case of Africa” and participated in a panel discussion on “Identifying Opportunities and Challenges In The Real Estate Sector.”
Other notable speakers at the event included Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, President of the Nigeria Society of Engineers, and Mr. Nii Botchway, CEO of Addison Construction Ltd.
The event convener, Mr. Daniel Kontie, expressed his gratitude to attendees and announced plans to host next year’s event in Nigeria, Uganda, or Kenya.
