The second African Continental Engineering, Architecture, Construction and Real Estate Summit (ACEACRES 2024) came to a close on November 28, 2024, after two days of intense discussions on the future of Africa’s built environment.
The summit, themed “Integrating Sustainable Built Environment for Socio-economic Transformation,” brought together industry leaders, professionals, and innovators from across Africa to discuss emerging trends and technologies in the built environment sector.
Key issues discussed at the summit included the urgency of integrating the African built environment, major factors affecting industry growth, the impact of artificial intelligence on the built environment, and the adoption of sustainability.
The summit was organized by the Africa Continental Engineering & Construction Network Ltd, a Pan African built environment and real estate firm based in Ghana.
The event attracted over 300 participants from Nigeria, Uganda, the United States, and Ghana, with sponsors including Gerflor Ghana, Meprolim Ghana, Premier Steel, and McDan Group.
The organizer has announced plans to rotate the summit across the African continent, with the next edition likely to be held in Nigeria or Uganda.”
