Divine Group International, under the leadership of Mr. Osman Baba, the Ag Manager of Divine Medical Center, has visited their chairman, Professor Samuel Akoriyea Kaba, to extend official congratulations on his recent appointment as the Director General of the Ghana Health Service.
Professor Kaba steps into this significant role with an impressive background, having dedicated over 12 years as the Director of the Institutional Care Division (ICD) and more than 7 years as the Deputy Director of the National Ambulance Service.
His contributions were vital in the establishment of the National Ambulance Service. Currently, he serves as the Director of Special Duties and Neurosurgery Training.
One of his remarkable achievements includes leading a team of medical professionals in the intricate surgical separation of conjoined twins, a procedure that received international acclaim. Additionally, he has been at the forefront of integrating innovative technologies such as virtual reality and telemedicine into neurosurgery, significantly enhancing Ghana’s healthcare system.
During the meeting, Professor Kaba expressed his commitment to collaborating with all stakeholders to address the challenges confronting the Ghana Health Service.
He urged stakeholders to share any issues or difficulties they encounter in their daily operations, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to improve the quality of healthcare throughout the country.
