Nana Akosua Agyepomaa Asare, Oseawuo Nkosuohemaa (Development Queen) of Akyem Abuakwa and Founder & CEO of Rainbow Trust Foundation, has presented assorted textbooks and educational materials to the Abomosu STEM Senior High School Library.
The donation comes through Rainbow Trust Foundation’s partnership with Book Aid International, UK. Under Nana’s leadership, the foundation has successfully resourced several school libraries throughout the region.
All books donated were carefully selected to align with science and STEM education curricula.
During the presentation, Nana Agyepomaa Asare encouraged students to “embrace these new resources with enthusiasm and curiosity.” She also pledged continued support, promising additional educational materials to further enhance the school’s resources in the future.
She further assured the school of continued support from the Foundation, with promises of more educational donations to come.
The headmaster, Mr Ebo Sey expressed gratitude for the generous contribution, acknowledging the donors’ investment in the intellectual development of young minds. He offered valuable advice to the students, noting that “a book unread remains merely an object, but one that is read becomes part of who you are.”
Distinguished guests that supported the event included Nana Ayim (Akwansrahene), Nana Osei (Pomasehene Kyeame), Baafour Ayim (Pomaase Kontihene), Rev. Ayim, and Mr. Robert Amoako.
