Parliament opens book of condolence for victims of helicopter crash

Parliament has announced the opening of a book of condolences at the foyer of parliament house in honour of the eight distinguished Ghanaians who tragically lost their lives in the recent helicopter crash.

The move is under the leadership of the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin and provides a public forum for citizens, State Officials, Members of Parliament, and all those affected by this loss to express their condolences and pay tribute to the departed.

Among the departed were two esteemed Ministers of State, technocrats, and service personnel whose dedicated service to the nation left an indelible impact.

Location: Foyer of Parliament House

Access: Open to State Officials, Members of Parliament, and the General Public

Time: Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m)

Members of Parliament, staff of the Parliamentary Service, and the General Public are invited to visit the Foyer to pay tribute and offer messages of sympathy to the bereaved families. Parliament stands in solemn solidarity with the entire nation in mourning this profound loss and prays for comfort, strength, and peace for the affected families during this difficult time.
