CCLG-Africa commends Govt’s step towards climate action
Climate Communications and Local Governance-Africa (CCLG-Africa) has lauded the government for establishing the green transition within the Energy Ministry, demonstrating its commitment to addressing climate change and environmental sustainability. According to CCLG-Africa, while this is a positive step, itbelieves a more comprehensive approach could necessarily be effective and tackle these global challenges. In a press statement signed by the President of CCLG-Africa, Mr.Kofi Don-Agor argued that a dedicated ministry integrating climate change, environment, and green transition to facilitate better coordination among government departments, agencies, and stakeholders is the way to go.
