Springfield completes Afina Well appraisal; commercial viability confirmed
Springfield Exploration and Production (SEP) Limited, in partnership with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and GNPC EXPLORCO, has successfully completed the appraisal well test of the Afina discovery through a re-entry of the well. The successful completion of this appraisal well-test reinforces Springfield’s historic role as the first independent Ghanaian and African energy company to operate a deep-water asset and achieve hydrocarbon discoveries.
