GIHOC Distilleries refutes claims of Aboso Glass Factory sale

GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited has denied recent media reports alleging that the Aboso Glass Factory in Tarkwa, Western Region, was sold for GH₵8 million. Managing Director of GIHOC, Kofi Jumah, clarified that the company, which assumed control of the factory in 2019, has no plans to sell the facility. Instead, he disclosed that efforts are actively underway to revitalize the factory, with operations expected to resume by 2025.
