The Charger Limited Story?

Charger Limited, his brain child  started from the garage with five workers as a small alcoholic beverage company in 2012 to provide the masses with a unique and different taste of herbal bitters. With the “one step at a time” approach, Charger Limited focused on a gradual approach to marketing its lead product, Happy Man Bitters a region at a time and is gradually becoming a favorite alcoholic beverage in Ghana and some parts of West Africa.

In 2018, Charger Transport was added to the business fold. The brand under Charger Limited deals in sand and stone haulage. Charger Transport has worked with several construction entities in this short period of its existence and is the go-to company for sand, stone, quarry dust, white sand and others for all construction 

purposes.

For the growth and expansion of the company, there are several plans for as it continues to grow and expand its frontiers. Charger Limited in the future hopes to introduce other alcoholic beverages and also Incorporate other products including non-alcoholic beverages, a Mineral Water component (products which are of high demand on the Ghanaian market), and an import and export company under its umbrella.

Motivation and Determination:

Dr. Borketey’s journey in the beverage industry is fueled by an unyielding motivation to succeed against all odds. Born into modest circumstances, he encountered numerous challenges and 

obstacles throughout his path to success. However, it is his indomitable determination and unshakeable belief in his vision that propelled him forward. Driven by a deep desire to make a positive impact on society and fueled by his passion for entrepreneurship, he embarked on a path that would redefine the Ghanaian beverage industry.

economic growth. Also, he has embarked on several philanthropic activities especially in the Upper East Region of Ghana where his organisation has a very strong footing. Over the years he has supported initiatives to uplift the creative industry in the Upper East Region including providing support for Miss Upper East, Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards, Miss Navrongo and Happy Man Bitters Inter Community  GALA which helps unearth footballing talents.

expanded its product line to include a diverse range of beverages catering to various consumer preferences.
