Stephen Asiedu appointed Ag. Gen. Manager, Operations of SIGA

Mr. Stephen Asiedu has been appointed as the Acting General Manager, Operations, of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), following a formal announcement from the Office of the President in a letter dated January 5, 2024.

Mr. Asiedu is an accomplished business leader with over 15 years of cross-functional expertise in banking and finance, advertising, communications, construction, and customer service. His previous role as the Head of Corporate Affairs at SIGA showcased his pivotal role in cultivating partnerships with key stakeholders, including the presidency, sector ministries, investors, academia, civil society, and donors.

Through stakeholder communications, he successfully positioned SIGA as a hub of corporate governance due to his adept management of media communications and execution of major advertising campaigns.

Before this appointment, he  demonstrated impactful leadership at the United Bank of Africa(UBA) and Societe Generale, where he managed relationships with key corporate clients, contributing significantly to the banks’ profitability. His expertise extends to his roles as Chief Executive Officer at Cleverlines Company Limited and Executive Director at Mokab Company Ghana Limited.

Stephen is an alumnus of the University of Ghana Business School, holding an Executive Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economic and Philosophy from the University of Ghana. He has earned certifications from prestigious institutions globally, including the National Institute of Labour Economics Research in India, and has participated in executive programs at the University of Pennsylvania, Yale School of Management, Temple University  and  Northeastern University.
