Dr. Daniel Amateye Anim, the Executive Director of the Policy Initiative for Economic Development (PIED Africa) at an awards ceremony held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra during the received the Distinguished Men of Excellence Awards in Women’s Policy and Development at the “She Global Awards 2024”. This was in recognition of PIED Africa’s drive for women’s leadership and development in Africa.
The SHE GLOBAL AWARDS is a strategic platform created by Ladies in Business Magazine Global headed by Ambassador Adeshola Helen Onadipe that recognizes African Women in Business, Leadership, and entrepreneurship. This year’s was unique because the platform recognizes men and organizations who have been supporting Women-led initiatives across the continent.
PIED Africa is an economic and policy think tank pushing the “Africa We Want Series” featuring experts, academicians, professionals, business executives, women leaders, and politicians in Africa. According to Anim, his focus is to ensure the development of the continent by providing credible alternative policies to governments across the continent.
Daniel Anim is a respected economist and policy analyst and has extensively contributed to economic and development-related issues across the continent. As a result, he was featured regularly on international platforms such as the Voice of America, Aljazeera, Reuters, TRT World, Africa Watch, Le Pointe (France), Semafor Africa, Turkish National Television, and AFP among others.
