The eagerly awaited 14th edition of the Chale Wote Street Art Festival is set to captivate participants and attendees from August 19 to August 25.
Following a successful move from Jamestown last year, this year’s festival will once again be hosted in the lively neighborhood of Osu.
Osu, renowned for its rich history dating back to the early 19th century, has emerged as a key hub for both commercial and cultural activities in Accra. The festival will feature a diverse range of art forms, including open-air mural exhibitions by talented Ghanaian and international artists.
Last year’s festival honored the rebellion of enslaved Afro-Brazilians in Salvador Bahia in 1835 and their eventual return to countries like Ghana, Togo, and Nigeria. This year’s event promises to be equally exciting, with a lineup of activities celebrating art, technology, design, sports, and food and beverage.
Organizers have already invited vendors to register for the 2024 edition. Those interested in participating can reach out to the organizers at 0209733031, 0539607842, and 0504737978 to secure their spot in this colorful and vibrant festival.
With a blend of creativity, culture, and innovation, the Chale Wote Street Art Festival continues to be a must-attend event for art enthusiasts and culture lovers alike. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the best of Ghana’s street art scene in the heart of Osu.
