The EmpowerHer Initiative, in collaboration with the Office of the Member of Parliament for Madina Constituency, the Women Organizer, The Assemblyman for Tatanaa North in the La Nkwantanang Madina Municipality, Hon. Gizo, and the Madina Polyclinic, successfully organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Program.
The event aimed to promote early detection and preventive healthcare among women in the community.
The program featured educational sessions, free breast screening, and counseling services facilitated by medical professionals from the Madina Polyclinic.
The organizers emphasized the importance of regular medical check-ups and encouraged women to take proactive steps in safeguarding their health. Eugenia Korkor Martey, Team Lead of The EmpowerHer Initiative, reiterated their commitment to advancing women’s health and empowerment through continuous education, screening, and community outreach programs.
